You need to turn the siren on, pop the bonnet and look in the scuttle panel near the washer bottle, theres a key hole under a flap, you should have a little key which fits and you can turn on the siren.

there not wires theyre like metal cable/rods that move left and right when you turn the dial. Take them out of the car, its in the haynes how to do it !!

Its all cable operated behind them, you can take them off and check em, its really easy !!
