early Alizes were 8v mate. 16v models came out in 2000. Mine's is a Jan 2000 V plate so I just missed the cut off :(

IIRC there is no real difference between Optimax and normal Unleaded for smaller engined cars - it seems only to make a difference for bigger engined 'performance' models.
I just use normal Shell unleaded

When I was in picking my car up today I looked at the Sonax shampoos. This Vauxhall dealer only had the 2 in 1 shampoo (with wax iirc) and not the gloss shampoo that you recommend. Have you used the 2 in 1?

I'm finishing my current bottle of AG Shampoo and think I'm gonna buy something else. Cleans ok but prefer other shampoos I have used. Going to a vauxhall dealership to pick up my clio so prob buy some of this Sonax
