I chamois them first (inside and out), making sure I don't transfer any dirt and that the chamois is always clean, then I use Autoglym Glass cleaner. Does the job
I would love Tom's Ali but just need a cheapish runabout for the next 12 months. Mrs might have to do teaching in Aberdeen next year and she will need the POW mobile :(
cheers for the advice so far guys. It will be a wee runaround for me, girlfirend will be getting my mk 2 1.4. Want a quick little hatch and wouldn't mind doing some work on it but nothing major and expensive! Wouldn't be taking it to my work so it would only be getting driven on some evenings...
Could get a good condition RSI for junst under 1k actually

Depending on circumstances, maybe looking for a cheap runabout soon, in your experience can you get a half decent Valver in that price range?
Obviously I know it won't be immacualte, would it be possible you think to get a good daily runner tho?
first time I lost the back end of a car, I over corrected it and put my dad's pretty new Meggy (at the time) into the nearest wall.
Had good practice in the Clio over the years tho
When I went with someone to look at a brand new Clio at the time (mk 2 ph2).
Me: there's a brand new clio coming out next year, so what's the scope for a discount
Salesguy: There's not a new Clio coming out for a long time
Me: Yes there is, maybe you should check Auto Express this week...
