that insurance quote on the 182 is very good considering you are only 21. Hopfully my insurance will go down a hell of a lot this summer as it will be 4 years since i last had my accident and insurance companies ask about claims in last 4 years now :(.

i know you said lights but make sure your number plate light is working too!
I also had to get new wiper blades for my MOT, make sure your washers arent blocked as well

Its the metallic red colour and looks in good condition although a couple of alloys are curbed. A guy at my work owns it and he asked me if Id be interested although I told him that Im saving for a flat just now. Its only done 19K...
I think its alright - I can see 307, Astra, and a bit Punto in there but all manufacturers are copying each other. I hate the Civic tho, bread van is better
The platform of the micra is meant to be very good if i remember reading. Its because Renault own Nissan and so it will cut costs rather than designing a new platform for the Clio

i check my doors are locked at least 3 times when i leave it and its only a bloody clio 1.4! my girlfriend laughs at me! Im like that when locking house door as well - i must not trust myself :(
will have a look for them next time - touch wood that the clio doesnt need too much work done this year!
popped out to the car earlier to find that they never stamped my service book so will get them to stamp it this week

John - I took it to J and J McIndoe they are based on the A89 beside the Williamsons garden centre. Thought Id go there as I wasnt impressed the last couple of times with the garage I usually use.

Took my car to get a full service and mot on friday - thought to myself car is feeling alright, should pass fine BUT... got a call about 90 mins later saying the car had a list of faults!
things like anti roll link bar and rear coil spring had to replaced as well as the smaller things like new...
my bonnet release did catch when i first got it - i was sticking up for SCDave - the point i was making was that this place should be for questions both technical and not so technical
sometimes they (the bonnet catch) can be stiff...like mine was

its really easy if you have the tools - my neighbour (who works with in-car phones, etc so probably a lot better than i could do) did mine in a matter of minutes - standard philips one goodbye, hello new jvc
