    ***How much is it worth?***

@MarcB personally, I’d be putting that up at £15,995 maybe even £16,995 and aiming for very close to that. There’s a lot of polished turds out there, and we all know yours won’t be.

My van had a decat, one silencer from a 2.2 accord diesel and the rest was straight piped. Was stupid loud tbf but I only had one warning for noise all day. You’ll be fine.

    The titanic has docked…

I’m assuming the MPG is what it is (not that good) because you’re doing loads of relatively short journeys? It’s about 160/170 to fill up my X5 but I get 750+ miles out of that on the motorway though. It’s appalling around town. 😂 (I’m still contemplating one of these, I really want one)

    Track oil consumption

My van does 1L per track day but my car doesn’t use any at all. (Both 182 engines)

The reason I asked is because I’ve ‘outgrown’ all my jeans since I stared wearing shorts. 😂

Does anyone know if Javelin allow shorts and T shorts on track?? Not done a Javelin event for years.

I now just need a quick road test, a spanner check and then the mother of all cleans and she’s good to go. I think I’ve spent nearly £4K on it this month. f**king sickening. If it wasn’t for CSF I wouldn’t have even opened the door on it this year. This forum has a lot to answer for.

    Cummins 5.9 Engined Defender...

The guy that owns the Cummins one has a Twisted 110 as his daily. He’s actually in Italy in it now. I honestly can’t think of a worse car to drive to Italy. 😂 (sorry)

It’s an actual Landrover colour, Keswick Green.

    Cummins 5.9 Engined Defender...

It’s been painted, new wheels, new suspension, new interior, new glass… It now looks like this, and has a manual gearbox. (And for the record, towing a 6.0 Landrover on a heavy as f**k farm trailer was sketchy as f**k! 😂)

    MarkCup's BMW i3S

I really like the Fiat 500 E’s. They look really cool. Can you wait for the Renault 5? That’s supposed to be cheap.

    MarkCup's BMW i3S

Delivery in 4 months is a lie. Unless the cars are in stock and physical, they have no idea how long they will take, they’re lying. My best mate works for Mini and he might have to leave because they cannot get cars. 6 week wait has turned to 6 months. 6 months is now 15 months. A car...

    MarkCup's BMW i3S

That is f**king insane money. I appreciate that your situation means it doesn’t cost you that much, but this is precisely the reason EV’s are going to take a while to get popular. My £3k car that does 22mpg looks cheap as chips now.

I absolutely love these, I think they’re brilliant. Good work sir. The perfect commuter car imo.

    New, Fully Electric Renault 5

I was talking to @riz friend about it the other day. He lives Birmingham iirc and went to Cornwall on holiday. 20 minutes on the big charger takes him from 20% to 85%. Enough time to stop at the services and have a wee/food/drink etc and then you’re on your way. He said that people get hung up...

    New, Fully Electric Renault 5

And that’s the correct attitude. Because you’re normal. But Brian and Sally, who are nearly retired and use their car for more than 100 miles a week maybe once a year but are still complaining that EV’s don’t offer enough range are the issue. Once people can understand that with a bit of...

182 track day wheel size - are 15s or 16s better?

I use 15’s because track tyres are almost half the price of the same in 16’s.

    MR2 Roadster 128k - £1000 Starting Bid

Expect your phone to melt. I advertised my mums car (identical spec age and mileage to yours, same colour too) for £1495 and I could have sold it 20 times over.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

I’ve used it on pink transits, down to a 1972 fiat 500. It is heavy, that’s my only gripe. But it does the job no problem. My mate has a really expensive One (can’t remember the name, it’s red and grey) and it’s sooooo nice to use. But he uses it every day. For the 2 (at most) times a week I...

I’ve got a silverline one from eBay. About £50. I’ve had it for about 3 years. It gets used at least twice a week and it’s still going strong. Has a good speed variation on it, it’s not too loud either but it is quite heavy.

Just bought a beauty of a Clio 182 but have a concern

My immediate reaction would be to not worry about it. Some of the advisories I’ve seen over the years on my cars have been pathetic. Others looked like the titanic but never had a mention of rust. If the rest of the car is nice, it’s got good history etc, get in front of it and look at it...
