I’m on 195/50/15’s and my two track cars are a F4R’d Kangoo van and a Mk1 F4R’d clio. I personally wouldn’t be using Rainsport tyres in the damp, they’ll be useless. They’re a rain tyre.

I’ve used Rainsport 5’s on both of my track cars and zero complaints from me. They’re nowhere near my MRF’s in terms of ability or longevity but Rainsports are £24 fitted each and MRF’s are over £100 each. I think it’s about setting expectations. And for £24 a tyre, i think they’re a fantastic...

sounds like a hole in the block as mentioned above. cheapest way is a Secondhand engine. new belts/clutch/consumables. a good weekends work for a home mechanic or a week at a garage. probably looking at £3k minimum I’d imagine unless you can do it yourself.

For a road car I’d go B14’s, no question. Too soft for track though, not that that matters to 90% of clio owners.

As cool as it looks, 0-60 in 6+ seconds just won’t cut it for the new car customers. They’ll want a lot more from such a lairy looking thing.

I’m not interested in coatings and other gumf. I just want a product that helps me to clean cars quickly and doesn’t leave streaks or smears and allows me to dry a big car with minimal effort. And this stuff rocked it honestly.

It’s a breaker only. Seeing as it doesn’t seem to have any damage and nobody looks to have died in it, I’d say it’s been flooded.

Bought some Autoglym Autogloss Rinse last week as I was out of Aquawax. I have to say, it’s probably the best drying aid I’ve ever used. Washing and drying a dark coloured 4x4 usually takes ages but this made it an absolute breeze. I’ll definitely not switch back to Autosmart Aquawax.
