Bet it would be a right job to make it nice again after removing the spoiler. Still, you'd recoup some of the costs of paint and possible filler by selling the spoiler. I like the small lip on the top of the hatch standard UK cars got. The imports without it look unfinished.

Mine were faultless, but lots of people seem to complain. The lights are pretty much perfect day to day. Only thing they struggle with is fog. The wipers were fine for me, but they are what people complain about.

I'm with Jason. Decent car for age imo, better than rolling around in a 1.2 fiesta/clio/corsa like most 18/19 y/o's
