I did loads of cars before I touched the 182. I was (un)lucky that I had a Sh*tbox Micra runabout at the time to really give it some welly on the bonnet lol
In the real world any weight difference will mean very little when different driver weights and full loads come into play. I would go for full fat and enjoy the toys ... Have you seen the Cup interior ? ;)
Ok if you like your car smelling like the local chippy Steve! ;)

I would probably try to get away with car shampoo and water only on that kind of finish. Polish with Autogylm Super Resin Polish, and seal with there Extra Gloss Protection and/or Poorboys Wheel Sealant.
Pro Tyre are very good - not sure if they have a local branch to you, most branches where in the South West (there site seems to be down at the moment) but think they expanded to Slough and Enfield so may be further afield than that now.
Both the local to me Gloucester and Bristol depots take...
I have the Denison in my 182, can't fault it

If you want a second opinion call Kev Hicks, one of the only people I would trust to work on my own cars. He is based in Swindon, but will travel or you can go to him and he really knows his stuff. He has done work for other CS members - 07836 534538
Pre rinse foam is intended to take the dirt and grime on the paint with it as it slides off the bodywork, leaving less on there when you use the mitt, helping to cut down on wash inflicted swirl marks.
