The PC is a 110V US machine - UK mains is 240V the important bitthe transformer needs to step down the mains voltage from 240 to 110.
I dont understand enough about electrics and know what the kva bit is all about. My old chap did explain when he got the transformer for mine.

About 20 quid direct from Blackspot the people who make the road angel. You need to phone up and ask for the longer one if you want it on the rear shelf.
Some work - some don't!
My Road Angel 2 worked to a fashion at the bot of the screen in the cut out area, but would take ages to pick up signal and drop out in town and under trees etc. Additional attenna on the the ledge next to the rear shelf and it is fine now.
