Got a W plate 172. Developed a misfire. I have just replaced the Coil pack, Leads and Plugs and it is still doing it. I have had one lead off at a time trying to determine which cylinder is at fault, but each time I crank it over after removing a lead, it refuses to start. Doesn't matter...

I am about to buy a car with the above problem. Whats causing this? If I weld it in, am I just going to create more problems elsewhere?? Its a Valver btw.

I need to know as my mum has a puncture on her MX5 and I have about 15 Clio wheels and tyres lying around.... I ask on here because i'm sure there was a chap on here that swapped his MX5 wheels for his Clio wheels, but am unsure if adaptors were used. Cheers :D

A 172 (mk2 ph2) that has no ABS Sensors or rings. (Removed) Under hard braking the pedal gives the feedback of ABS cutting in. Now I'm not too sure if this is actually ABS, or another fault, but it is deffinately coming from the brake pedal. Can anyone shed any light?? Ta.

Going to look at another 172 tomorrow or monday. I've got 4 ffs. I think i've got some sort of disorder. My wife thinks i'm a complete loser.

Just towed it up to my mates to get wiring and plumbing done. Everything else is in. :D :D :D Then its off for a repaint, new seats/harnesses, and got some new wheels for it too :D (excuse pic, taken on my phone....)

I have just finished fitting all the 172 running gear to my valver and it has left me with mental camber. My Shocks/hubs don't allow for camber adjustment, so what do I do?? Cheers.

Had a knocking noise, replaced o/s driveshaft. Fine for one day. Had knocking noise from tother side, again replaced. Fine for 2 minutes, then started knocking again..... Its a 2001 ph-2 172 and we have used Brand new (ish) 182 driveshafts. Can anyone shed any light?? Got a track day...
