Finally unlocked everything - the last to come was the M16 of the assault class. Still only on Rank 29 at the minute - not sure I can be arsed seeing it all the way to 50! :)

Still BC2 for me as well as the rather awesome Titan Quest : Immortal Throne - a snip at a mere £2.49 from Steam.
However, now that New Vegas has been installed on the PC last night, I strongly suspect that that will take pride of place over the next weeks/months/years.... ;)

Why, why, why, why o why?
People respray a car and sometimes think "That didn't quite turn out as I had hoped". Others get a new set of alloys, only to fit them and think "Hmmm - they looked a lot better in the magazine".
But how - seriously - how the hell does anyone short of spending...
You've got one of two options. You put the CPU in and it bitches like a mofo. Or, like you say, it fires up not utilising all the cores and allows you to get to a stage where the BIOS can be flashed.
I would have thought the architecture on the CPU would have made it run on fewer cores rather...
Without wanting to sound holier-than-thou, I really wish there was some fool-proof system for stopping online hacks and cheating. I'd say that with online BC2, I see in at least every other game someone being kicked or banned for hacks and known cheats.
Why? It's just a game FFS. It's not like...
Surely they are shafting you up the ring-piece some other way for that? How/why would they pre-sell a game that easily sells for more than double-that on the consoles?

Looked like a kids cartoon with adult undertones to it. Only put about an hour into it tbh and got bored. And I normally persist with mediocre games, but this just left me cold without any urge to explore further.

Damn this thread. I keep having a sneak read through it, without trying to actually read anything! My copy of NV should arrive from Play this week - so I'm trying to avoid any obvious spoilers....
Evil this time. For sure.

I'd just get a new laptop altogether, Fred. Give us a budget and we'll sort out the best one for you - assuming you give us what needs you want it for. :)

Got to agree there - Logitech make some pretty good speakers for the money...

Currently going through the SP campaign on this again on PC - forgot just how well put together it was. Just completed the 'Mall' bit and now onto moving through Arcadia with the support of Honey Badger.
Does anyone with the PC version fancy having a go at the co-op Spec Ops missions? If so -...
Chaps,
On Saturday afternoon when I started the car up, I noticed that the stereo didn't come on. I manually pressed the On button - but nothing happened. Yet all the backlit orange lights on the unit were on.
However, when I switched the car off - these orange backlights lights stayed on...
Some of those pics don't even look real?! Million-to-one collision that.
Such a shame that a sunflower has been nailed. :( Glad nothing happened to you physically though....

My fears for BC2 Vietnam have been vindicated yet again on another shite two rounds of Isla Somethingcentres map on BC2. What an absolute pile of pap that map really is. Enemies you see in the distance don't get spotted - firing on them gets halted by trees and undergrowth. Vehicles are 110%...
Well, those sad enough (i.e me) to have bought this via Steam have been given a free upgrade to Railworks 2. They've overhauled the interface to make it MUCH more easier to pickup and play. Even I did well, aside from scoring a -250 for setting off while passengers were still boarding - lol.

You sir, were indeed correct!
Replaced all four discs today and with the rear replacements already including new bearings, the nosie has now disappeared. :)
Oh, and she stops a fair bit better too - the front discs were totally shot! :)
