Trust me mate, that clicking noise was tame. When the batteries go on the 197/200's, they can literally do all sorts of crazy things. You end up seeing features you didn't know you had! Always a good thing to always check battery first for literally any problem on these!
You need specialist tools to change them on the F4R engine mate, most garages will use generic locking tools and they will 100% not be timed up correctly.
All depends where you go really. I can't off the top of my head think of any Scottish specialists.
@Nik or @rctempire may know of some?
Make sure pins are all clear and clean of debris but as previously mentioned above, cheap OBD's are just that and won't always read all ECU's.
Another possibility (maybe?) is that if RSTuner has been used on the vehicle and errored in some way while locking down the ECU.
@Alistair14 - you’re representing the club here so need to start behaving.
Please look in your staff rulebook, section 8 (just past the “Tips on getting members to send nudes” section) and re-educate yourself on the rules set out about stereotyping certain cars, being homophobic etc etc.
Upper grills are straight swap as @197. pointed out for you mate.
Probably a better idea to get springs if you just want lows and in particular wanting to spend as little as possible.
Look for the H&R springs mate, 40/30 drop. MK3's always sit nice on the H&R's!
Very nice indeed mate.
Didn’t quite know what headlight assist was but upon Googling it, it dips the main beam off when there is oncoming vehicles. This world is going mad, soon there will be “start the engine assist”.
Welcome along mate, if all is well with it then that is a bargain. I’d definitely think about getting your cambelt and six belt replaced though especially with no history. That’s one thing that will turn that from a bargain in to a money pit if the belt goes and the pistons kiss.
