Rear shocks are easy to swap over mate, no need for a mechanic.

Yeah just get a fatty pipe. With no battery you'll be able to get a nice big filter behind the headlamp.

We could head up to Thirsk and then out to some of the smaller villages. There's bound to be good roads around there. Could then go into the moors for some pics.
