It's the original one, K Tec cut it to remove when he had a Janspeed fitted. Apart from being dusty & sitting in a garage for 2 1/2 years it's as new. May be going on Ebay as when i got back from collecting it someone wants my car as is!!!!

The top mounts are a separate part for starters, not part of the damper, think same as other models. The reservoir is replacable as it's held on with 2 allen bolts. Bear in mind if you encounter any other probs;)

With ds 2500 remove the shims.

1 hours tuition at a track will be more beneficial than stripping & modding. Learn to drive, then add the mods & see if you gain any benefit;)

Jon why didn't you contact the guy that refurbs the dampers, which i posted on CT?? If you leave your car with them they will strip refurb & refit 2 dampers for less than you contributed for 1? Should of hired a car for a week;)

Whats a 57/08 cup worth now, used?? As dealers are knocking them out for £13K with options?? Seen 57 ex demo with options for £11400!!!
