What have you been using to wash it with - Lambswool mitts?
I was as carefull as I could with mine and still managed to marr it over the last 6 months - a couple of car shows without washing may have been a factor. Just got a foam gun to see if that helps.
It was a crap lap, the CTR was still moving at the same point on the lap, though somehow he managed to get the Clio stationary in a cloud of tyre smoke at the same point. I did not lok to me as if he was trying to ge tit round in the quickest possible time. People on here go on about the EVO 182...
When I was running my 205 GTi and 306 XSi it was costing me alot more than having the 182 and my current 306. I am not sure I would go back to running to expensive to insure and run cars again though. The 306 is 1.4 so it has cheap tax, insurance (200 quid a year f/c) and 40 quids worth of juice...
3 layers of EGP seem to be about optimum, building up a few good layers before winter sets in should see you through. Chuck a durable wax on top and you should be nicely protected.

Gives a really wet glossy look. So much easier than Klasse SG and AG EGP aswell.
I should be topping mine with #16 at the weekend as I have no Collinite. Yes get some pics up.
The JEFFS Werkstatt Acrylic Jett Trigger is much easyier than Klasse SG , it is reformulated to be easy on and off - is as easy as a Qd spray, I have 6 coats on the 182 now!

Still not used the Aquawax yet - have you? - the shampoo is very...
I would go for Klasse AIO and the spray version of Klasse SG protection, JEFFS Werkstatt Acrylic Jett Trigger - it is so easy to use, I have 6 coats on the 182 now.
http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=178580 (this was after about 2 or 3 coats)...
As above plus you will need http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/ if you go for the JEFFS Werkstatt Acrylic Jett Trigger
They have a nice deal on the full kit at the moment to

Well OTT!
Weekly should be a wash, QD and maybe a coat of wax if you feeling energetic.
Yearly - Wash, Clay, Machine polish, Sealant, Wax
Every 6 months, Wash, Paint Clean, reapply Sealant and Wax.
When you want to add a bit more to the paint before a show etc, once every 2/3 months - Wash...
The Megs ones are a lot of money for what they are IMO. Much better quality towels out there for less money and better quality.
Look into the Poorboys DMT's, Sonus and the Micropak ranges.
Again there are alternative that produce a better finish than the Gold Class and for less money.
Sonax...
4 inch Spot pad set is a must for the Clio.
In the full sized and spot pads it is always good to have more than one pad ie 2 full sized cutting pads, 2 polishing pads, 2 finishing pads and the same in the spot pads.
If ordering from Autopia there are two different pad kits - Sonus SFX and...
You wont get swirl marks again if you wash it properly, they dont just appear, infact no washing at all should mean no swirl marks.
Most clearcoated modern day paint jobs also wont go that dull like old single stage ones.
If your 205 had been Black rather than White it would have been a good...
I managed to get a full copy of version 4 a fair few years ago bundled with a cheap scanner, sold along with a upgrade to 5.5, then went to 6 and then jumped to CS2 from there - over the years has not been to bad costs wise.
Not sure what the best route would be today. Not sure if there are any...
Yeap thats a Glaze.
When did you last clay the car?
Rub you fingers across the paint in a plastic bag after washing - you will soon tell if there is anything bonded to the paint needing clay.
I have yet to have thrown away one of the Megs ones and I have been using them for years, that said I have shed loads of the yellow foam hand pads so doubt many have been used more than a few times each.
