Alternator is different, all the brackets are different the belt is different ofc.
Its quite a large task and quiet costly if you have to buy the parts.

would not have happened if he let me passed.
Cars that are quick in a straight line FTL on track days :(
No it isnt:dapprove:
32-33 in town 38-44 on a motorway
Currently returning 40.2MPG driving at 72 MPH on a 50 mile comute.
72 MPH using speed restictor.
First of All what the hell is a 182R??
I guess you mean you have stripped your 182.
You can use tyre foam but it is useless in a blow out.
Personally anyone that doesnt carry a spare wheel on a motorway or long journey is a moron.
I take mine out when im going for a B road blast or know i...
Agreed, Jay.
The project section contains most of the "different" cars. Most in there are "modified" for motorsport/tracks so not a great deal of cosmetics.
As everyone has said, CS is more about liking the RS models how they are and how they drive.
Head to cruizing sites for mods this is a...
Well for 4.5K i would not expect a clean one, you may pick one up that hasnt had the belts done, therefore youwill need to splash out 500 straight away (going of a 04 car)
Buy a good 172 or 172 cup.
Well when my idler was whining it sounded like it was coming from the alternator, but it was the sound vibrating through the metal case.
Fred gave me a hand, first take of the Aux belt if the noise stops you know its in this line (dont run the car to long with the belt off.
then start by...
Well, mine was a horrid noise all the time, and the more load but on the Aux belt and the higher up the revs you got the louder it got.
I drove 500+ miles before i got it changed. Not really clever but itts what i had to do.
Well i had my cambelt / aux done in march, 2 weeks ago my car started to whine. Turned out to be one of the new idler pulleys on the aux belt was faulty , it had not failed but was just makeing a horrible noise.
May be worth looking at.
Yeh flick it up you get a green icon (cruise control) flick it down you get a orange icon (limiter)
Set a speed with the +/- like you do on the cruise control.
Yeh there is a point where you can push the pedal and when you reach this point you turn cruise control/restrictor off, I use my speed restrictor everyday nearly at 72mph and see a reading of 40+ MPG atm:approve: where as a few weeks ago when i was "in conrol" i was seeing 36 MPG :(
