ME and barron (my brother) bought a track car between us. Im 20 he is 18. We bought this, it is alot of fun. But do not set a budget for a car and not think about all the running costs and stuff like a set of track tyres uprating the brakes and all that...

right today i was sat at the lights, had the car out of gear with the handbrake on. I then decided to put down the window and both the battery light and the stop lighted flashed on and off. Any pointers ??? thanks Adrian.

Just doesnt not llok very pretty, and yeh it is turned to the right. Just wanted to check would hate to have it fall to bits or cause daft amounts of damage. Thanks for fast replies.

I know its not the famous cup racer tow eye but i much prefer it. Some of you will have seen http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=343309 We had some tow eyes made up for the track car, we had a extra one made up each for the road cars. I painted the pins today while carl is at work...

Basically a large bolt machined and cleaned, they are 22mm at the head, this is them taped back to the 16/18mm that the original tow eye is. With a large eye shackle instead of a ring (like the cup racer ones). the shackle should be alot stronger than a rewelded ring.

We had it build up by a guy we know, we showed him some pictures of the one Burp had. But he felt it would be easier and stronger mounting it to the back of the bulk head. Its is stupidly light aswell, made from 3mm Aluminium and just bend for the strenght.

I have a 182 FF, my brother has a 172 then between us we have a PH1 172 (track car) and between the 3 te PH1 is by far the best, cable throttle = <3 Could hardly notice the differance in the 182 and the 172 until carl put a RS tuner on the 172. Buy a PH1 save money :D

Sound like exactly what our track car was suffering from this week. We noticed a back fire at 3k, then the car would not start, then the car starts still a back fire. You get the picture. Turns out to be the TDC sensor. On the top of the gear box. We changed the leads and plugs aswell, But...

I payed 500, for my cstom build AAS stainless steal system, custom brackets and single box system, also had it tuned down for motorway use i love it tho :D

Mendal motors are spot on, they were really good on Barrons car, and we were going to be using em today but we fixed the track car :D As for exhausts AAS in newcastle make amazing systems, fully custom systems can tone them depending on what you want, both me and Barron have them, then Hutchie...

I forgot we have braided brake lines, they are worth their weight in gold.

Max brembo discs, Ferado DS2500 pads. This is whats on our track car and held up really well around croft for 6 sessions no brake fade at all, and loads of meat left on them. As for trye we have, Yokohama prada spec 2, these were suggested by a few people on here. We found they held up really...

Yeh yeh, the track car is alot better now. The seats and harnesses arrived, we stripped all the front down. Carl did a good job of moving some of the switches about, and we have painted the front floor back tonight. Lots of other things planned this week you will have to wait to see tho :D

On Friday Carl (barron) my dad and i went to the free practice as Guests with bridgestone. Carl helping himself to some free food :D We then got to do the pit walks. My dad in renault with a wheel :D Carl won tickets through Renault so we went to saturday...

It would have been a 8 axle, Liebherr LTM 1500/8.1 Dad is sad and works for Ainscough, they have 9 of em. They are +2 million quid. They weigh 148 ton :P 1 sec n i will get a photo up :D

Yeh, they always look a bit odd to me on screen, but i thinl that is because im using a crappy A4 scanner, it doesnt pick up the colours very well, it make whit slighty grey i feel :<

the above were not scanned in hense the reflections :D I can do shading and fine drawing aswell but they take alot longer these hardly take any time at all. All done with marker pens (felt tips really) and a bit of whit chalk here and there. I will be doing a few more clios in the next week...
