Cracking meet Naith - all credit to you m8. Tony, Scott and Mark were sound blokes, capped off by a great head-count of Meggys, Clios and Pugs - not forgetting that insane Civic Type-R!
Mark did a superb job in getting rid of the dent of the rear flank that had been annoying me for ages. Well...
Re: [PC] Left 4 Dead 2
True. One's ok, but crippled and marred. The other is pure brilliance. Don't get me wrong, as a single player campaign, MW2 was awesome. As an online experience, it's lacking - and certainly doesn't move the series forward over the original MW. As I've said on other...
Re: [PC] Left 4 Dead 2
s**t - yeah! They've managed it - the developers have actually managed to make the sequel a massive improvement over the original!
MW2 can go hump itself - this is where its at. Seriously.
In a superb bit of game design that Infinity Ward...
Re: Quick bevvy meet - Bury mob
'tis indeed m8 - there's a pub on there too.
Good job I like you or I'd biatch-slap yo ass for the hyjax. N' tings. :rasp:
I'm still up for the run to Preston anyway Naith, so I'll be seeing you tomorrow. Car's caked in s**t, but it can wait for another...
Re: Left 4 Dead Deuce
Play sent me dispatch confirmation on mine yesterday, so hopefully I'll have it tomorrow. :)
Really looking forward to it. Now that I've completed the MW2 campaign, there's only the Spec-Ops on that, that I'm really interested in. And as Borderlines is a little 'meh'...
Remember when you stood on your favoutire toy car as a kid and the plastic wheels got crushed up into the car?
That's what it reminds me of. By that, broken. ;)
D.
Absolutely fecking rank. :dead:
And what the hell are those alloys on the last three pics? Looks like the drum unit from a top-loading washing machine.
I really like 300Cs. But anyone who cripples one like that should be took out and shot. I PMSL the other day at some bloke next to me in...
Like most things Apple - does the fluffliness warrant the extra cash? The compass is brilliant and very accurate. But I rarely need it when I get up, drive to work, when grabbing a butty at dinner, on my way home, etc....
Never used the speech recognition yet, so I can't really comment. Good...
Right.
Not full blown meet or anything this - just a gathering of us lot from Bury and the surrounding area. It seems we are rivalling Warrington for the RS-per-head ratio now! ;)
As such - I was thinking of a night after work next week - maybe just for a quick drink and chat - put names to...
It's still The Daddy, imo.
I keep trying other FPSs - hoping like crazy to get the same addiction that I had with 2142. Quite a few get close, but not quite there - if you get what I mean?
D.
Pretty much all FPS games have that built into the sniper rifles, m8. When was the last time you managed a reflex, unscoped kill on BF2142 with a Zeller? ;)
I guess they do that to stop players having the best of both worlds. Extremely accurate long range and then unscoped, using it like a...
Hmmm - I'm not too convinced by Borderlands, tbh. I've only tried single player so far, which I guess is its major failing, but I'm a little pissed that I have to start messing around port-forwarding, when PC games are so past that crap now.
As for the game itself, it doesn't have the instant...
Right - a bit more info now. I filled the tank up to the brim to minimise any petrol tank slosh and also the washer bottle (which was nearly full anyway). Under accelerating/braking, I can still hear a water sloshing noise - but now it appears more to the passenger side of the car - pretty much...
It was that turning to go through Belthorn m8 - do you know it? It usually gets an inch or so with just normal rain, but with the downpour we have had, it was proper flooded. I shouldn't have gone through it, tbh. :(
Thanks for all the reponses guys - especially Higgy. It could well be the...
I did think that at first, m8. But it definitely sounds in the central area - around the gearstick/hand-brake area. I could hear the fuel in the tank slosh under the back seat (approx half full) ok, but this is a different type of slosh - lol!
Hard to explain, but I've definitely not heard...
I slowed down this morning for a large pool of standing water - in order for the engine not to suck any in.
But it seems some has got into the exhaust now and there's a definite sloshing noise on braking. I've left it on a slope in the car park, with the car tilting backwards. But will this...
