Still unsure which one to pick. For £45, the Home Premium version is a bargain. And I'm wondering if I'd ever use the additions of the Pro version at home?
D.
Though why this price is only valid until the 9th of August is daft. It should be the same price on release.
Home Premium @ £45....

And no...
Got to agree with the above. I'm using AMD currently with an ATi 4870 card onboard. However, both nVidia has the edge in the graphics front at the moment - and definitely Intel does in the CPU market.
i7 CPU and nVidia gfx would be what I'd be looking at, new system wise. :)

Good purchase.
Cheap, parts available everywhere for it and with good power and handling. Only ever driven a VTR before myself, but even that experience showed me its go-kart qualities. :)

Re: Modern Warfare 2: Prestige Edition
Really interested as to what they can bring to the table with MW2. If its still infantry-only, I think it won't stand the test of time as well as COD4 did. Most people (certainly myself included) want a bit more than the 'ol shoot-die-shoot-die routine...
I never use wireless kit unless I really have to. Full of stupid, trivial issues like this - coupled with the recharge factor as well.
Stick with a USB keyboard - cables work. ;)
On this, it could be that the keyboard software was set to automatically update and has applied additional...
Only just started with it, but in true Blue Byte/Settlers fashion - it's a definite grower.
The isometric view is very familiar and there is an amazing level of detail in the unit animation. I haven't got to the stage of fighting anyone yet - only making inroads on the trading and settlements...
FLOL! Well I picked up a m8 of his on the way down on Friday and we both walked into what can only be described as a Star Wars bar. It looked strangely familiar to the pub & American tourist scene in Transpotting. Complete with drinking families (include into that, babies and toddlers) -...
Re: b*****d Vaios
Drives me to absolute goddamn despair, that does. Why the f**k do they insist on pre-loading so much s**t onto laptops and PCs? It actually stops me from buying that brand unless absolutely necessary.
HP seems to have the least crap on it, out of the box.

.....met up down there for the first night of a stag do. In just walking from pub to pub, I spotted five different 1*2s - all black, apart from one flamer.
They seem to like them down there. :)

I don't think it's specific to Sky engineers though. Never, ever get the cosmetics sorted out before the functionality needs doing - trust me, I've learnt that more than a few times at work! Now we leave cables, leads, sockets and everything just taped-up to make sure it all works and then worry...
f**k me. They included my interview at 2.52.....
Looks like this is going to trounce GT5 on the PS3. I seriously doubt that Sony can claw anything back now, really.
Btw, is that one of those Fanatec wheels seen in front of the triple screens? (g33k) :o
D.
Got the same on mine, m8. They seem to clear all the bits of the screen ok for me. They had a good test today too - proper bounced it down with rain on the way home from work.

Someone should tell him to stop pissing about with cars and get on with the release! Does he want the PlayStation Generation to be pensioners by the time GT5 hits the shelves? ;)

Does it allow you to boot up in safe mode? Hold the F8 down as Windows attempts to boot and it should give you a menu.
Select Safe Mode and if it is Mcafee causing the issue, you should be able to uninstall it once Vista boots up.
You can then reinstall Mcafee afterwards. But if it is the...
