RB182...
Build Quality: It will most likely rattle more than a corsa and the standard stereo is no where near as good as a corsa's, but from a reliability angle most owners will probably agree its quite a reliable car. Aslong as they are maintained things dont tend to go wrong that often.
Tuneability...
Even though its a huge PITA for most normal folk, this is why tesco need to make all stores have the £1 trolley thing. People wont leave them lying around, and when they are put away they cant come loose.
Anyone up for this, would be nice to have one last big meet before the winter months approach :)
Basically meet Skipton area and drive up to the lakes, then possibly meet some of the north west lot too :)
Date is provisional still..
1) Mike
Went to harewood hill climb today, a friend of a friend got us some free tickets.
He was in the polo, also got fastest time in class also beating the current record held by his mate (in the same polo).
Looking for c+c, was my first proper go at track pics :)
Also, more...
Mines on more than that!
They are fine but obviously you've got to expect some things to be wearing out. I've had the water pump and PAS pump go in the last year, but considering how cheap the car was its not that bad. Just make sure its got loads of history and it'll be fine.
Your working 60 hour weeks and still cant afford £3K :S
Will you have time to drive it if you get it? You'll probably be working 60 hour weeks to insure/tax/fuel/repair it!
It's all a guessing game.
I'd say around 170, but it would be interesting to do a run with the standard airbox too to see if the cone makes a difference.
Its not hard is it, just drive to woodall services, all on your own or with your mate, I'm sure you can manage that yes. Then we meet you there and you can follow us.
If you need someone to direct you to the M1 then just give up driving now
