Where can it get its power from just to test it all out?

Thanks for the replies guys, appreciated. My model has the hazards behind the hand break, not where you lot have said. I'm really stumped on where to put it! Also, what's the best way to test it works? Bought it off gumtree, the guy seems legit, just wanna make sure before I install it all...

Does anyone know how to wire these up, and are free at the weekend? Could pay etc. Based in Windsor. I have absolutely no idea. I suppose there is always trial & error but that isn't normally a good thing to test when playing with electricity. Anyone used their kits before, any good?

I remember hanging with iOS5 and Google Maps ending up not connecting to any servers, so it either ended or it was my phone itself messing about.

They were using Google maps previously until they wanted to rely more on their own software and added their own version of maps to iOS6. If you were still running iOS5 (With Google Maps).. the map system wouldn't work anymore. If I remember correctly.

Maps was one of them, wasn't it? Also, if you back up via Cable I'm sure it is compulsory to update FW at the same time.

They've forced updates before AFAIK, some functions stop working until you update etc.

Would be okay if upgrading to this look/design was optional. I'd opt out. I don't think they should "make" people change because as of now.. iOS has always looked relatively similar in all releases and could be a big selling point when people bought the phone. How about you go out, buy a nice...

Not sure on the difference but my halfords touch up kit says 24 hours between primer and paint etc. Maybe leave it longer mate?
