Yeah obviously its only worth changing the tweeters as part of a new component pack up front, and amping them is required really to get the best sound from them. I replaced the tweeters on my mk3 yes. Josh
Yeah tbh Andy the X6 did seem quite strange at first, especially the styling on the rear. Not sure though, think it may be growing on me.
Not entirely sure as to why/how there were so many of these cars from Dubai parked up round here, may have been something going on at this Jumeirah hotel...
Went off to London with family for the day yesterday and saw some great cars at Knightsbridge, (all on Dubai registered plates), and parked nearby to the Jumeirah hotel.
Also managed to catch some of the stars arriving on the red carpet at Leicester Square for the X Files premiere (tried to get...
I popped them out from the top of the dash, took a while and had to be very carefull doing it, as not to break the tweeter grilles. The correct way would be to remove the dash first though.
BioHzrd, its literally like an additional side light that turns on when you turn in a certain amount, think you would have noticed it at night if yours did have it.

Bought my mk3 1.2 dynamique SX from this company, very good service, they take a £500 credit card deposit from you and you pay the remaining balance upon delivery of the car. Could possibly get that price down a small amount too by negotiating...
How do all you lot with iphones manage to transfer the pics you've taken on your iphone onto your pc/mac? Can't seem to find a way through itunes to access the files on the iphone and bluetooth doesn't allow you to tranfer actual files to other bluetooth enabled devices. :S
Thanks
seller also has a ''mint condition'' 197 front bumper going cheap...

They're the seats I was watching on ebay. Description says they're in AS NEW condition and with the rear ones aswell. Seems a bargain at the moment! Can always arrange a courier to collect them from there. Anyone going for them?
Will these seats fit a non-197 mk3, and if so is it a pretty straight forward swap over (including the rear seats)? Do they need different mountings/ brackets (subframes) etc than what are currently on my mk3?
Cheers
Received my car back from Renault today (was having the exhaust re-positioned and new, stronger mounts fitted).
Very pleased with the look of it now, much better with the cut out they've made into the rear skirt for the exhaust to sit in, and the amount of movement in it is considerably less...
No not at all, its just these particular speed bumps near me are ridiculous in height and with the front splitter fitted on the dynamique SX it obviously makes the front end quite abit closer to the ground (obviously wouldn't have the problem if without the splitter), then with lowering it, its...
Its the sebring 'sport exhaust' from Renault, had it fitted by the dealer when purchased.. £300. Its just a backbox, gives a nice, quiet hum in the background nothing noisey at all. Its actually in at Renault now having the exhaust re-mounted and strengthened by them, and hopefully raised into a...
The kit will definitely fit no problem, has nothing to do with wheel size. I'm sure you can buy the kit separately as a whole from Renault, you'll be looking at around the £1k mark fully fitted by Renault. Its abit cheaper (£800 approx.) when bought from renault as an extra along with the...
I went for the ITG panel filter from k-tec, tbh couldn't tell any difference from standard but been told it helps the engine breathe more freely etc and may have very minimal gains.
Weather started off quite good today so thought I'd give the Clio a much needed clean. Has been a fortnight since I last cleaned it but with it being black and also parked under trees at home, it never stays clean for long at all!
Didn't get a before shot of the alloys, but the brakes don't...
Could do with one of these, my macbook gets extremely hot after say longer than 1 hour of use (especially if ever watching films on it) and when not connected to the mains. Are there any specifically designed for macbooks, that fit more neatly etc?
daydotz, no I haven't had the cut out made into the rear splitter for the exhaust yet, its going back into Renault this Wednesday hopefully to have them look at it again, and I've forwarded that copy of the fitting instruction sheet to them, detailing the cut out for the exhaust. I imagine...
Yeah its a no go really mate unless you're willing to spend lots of money on hub conversions etc and even then not sure if its all entirely compatible, better off with some 17" turini's IMO...

Anyone know how I can source these map updates online, for my tomtom ONE XL? I'm assuming its through torrent sites or similar, and do you just copy the files over onto an SD Card along with the application software for the device? Josh
Intrigued by this dump valve for the 1.2 TCE Engine, anyone know much about these particular types of dump valves, and anyone thats got one fitted to a TCE 1.2? Josh
Cheers for the comments guys, at the moment I think I'll be sticking with what I've got, would ideally fancy a set of 17" anthracite turinis... but cheapest price I've found for them is just short of £1k with tyres (from k-tec). And yeah Dyno its the dynamique SX model so has the front and rear...
