    Soundbar

I had a sound bar (sort of, it was my sisters) but I sacked it off and bought an amp and speakers from richer sounds. That way I can plug my iPod/ phone in to it too and crank it right up at bbq's etc. (I also bought a thumping great sub but it's massive overkill. Never use it, it makes the...

    BMW M3 CSL Wrapping

In scutch's pics, the pic of the drivers door, the light reflection is badly distorted. That over the whole car would drive me insane and I'd pull it off after a day.

    BMW M3 CSL Wrapping

I appreciate that it's an immense skill to have and the quality of work looks awesome. But wraps just look like a Bad paint job. I certainly wouldn't have one. (Unless it was a promotional vehicle in a Lairy colour)

I think you need to invest in some ear plugs!

    I cant believe it..

I spent 2 days machine polishing my dad's car about two weeks ago. He collected it at 8am and went straight to golf. When he came out the polish c**t that works in the car park tried charging him a tenner for cleaning it! When my dad said 'look at the ground it's bone dry, you haven't cleaned...

Another MCS. The track day toy.

I love this! Don't take it the wrong way, but it looks ratty and purposeful. My kind of car. :D

    Tim's Forged LY R26

Awesome work my boy! Bloody awesome. If you think it's loud now, after hearing it in the tunnel in France, it must be obscenely loud!! Lol Love it.

    Dephaser issues, SJM? Diamond Motors?

Chaps. My mates 172 had a. New dephaser about 4 years ago but the engine has only done 150 miles since then. On Friday it was taken on track (with its new throttle bodies and mtec ecu mapped by Sabre Tuning) and after a successful day, it conked out on the final cool down lap. It failed to...

    Lightweight traklite wheels

£556?! f**k that. I'll stick to my £150 a set. Out of interest, what other forums have been giving good feedback?

Need help with hazards that won't switch off

Your UCH is buggered. Get one from Renault Wolverhampton on here (cheap) drive to your nearest specialist on here (andyrg) and fit it yourself then get him to code it. Will be half the price of Renault.

    ***How much is it worth?***

That's a cheap car! If I was you, I'd spend the £150-ish and get the bumper repainted. It will put a lot of people off. Your advert is pretty bleak though. No mention of the last service? No mention of when/who did the belts, the pictures are average too. When you advertise a car you need...

    interior cleaning.

I'd strongly advise against using a wet vac on alcantara. It holds a LOT of water and will take ages to dry out properly. As said above, spray with interior shampoo and use clean dry microfibres to wipe. Repeats as much as needed.

No mate. I think that will be it for 2014.

    Removing driver seat help! ASAP!

The red bit doesn't really matter so don't worry too much. You need a very thin flat blade screwdriver to slide into the locking part of the clip and jam it in there. Once it's jammed in, pull (quite hard!) the two black bits. DO NOT pull the wires because they'll break before the clip comes...

    Bit of an odd one

You don't need clocks no. If you go secondhand, you need ecu, uch, decoder ring (ignition barrel) and you can just swap your key blade over. If I was you, if it's a nice car and only done 42k, I'd fit new. It's up under the glovebox, black box. From memory it's only a 10mm bolt and a fair...

Not a lot! It's getting weighed before Xmas so we'll find out soon. It's heavier than my mk1 so I should (with a completely standard engine) be glued to his bumper At the next track day. Yesterday gave me some motivation. At last. Just need to find some money. I'm so skint at the minute I...

    Heater blower blockage(?)

  22. Dicky Belly

    Bit of an odd one

There won't be. The UCH controls the windows, locking, lights etc. nothing to do with engine management. (Or nothing that would show up with a fault reader) The last one I replaced I bought from Renault Wolverhampton on here, for under £150 and paid a mate at Renault £20 to code it. Certainly...

Iirc, £600 for the speedo/rev/pressure/mileometer, and then £150 for the fuel and £150 for the water. Plus looms, plus sensors. Madness.

    Genuine alloy wheels

If I was on my laptop, I'd post links to each and every set on there. There are loads. Loads and loads. Why can't you see what I see when I look at eBay?? Those wheels came on the dynamique, the extreme (as an option) the extreme 4 and the clio campus sport. I know very well what you're...

Including the wiring and sensors (they don't come with the gauges!!) that little pod was just under £1,200. Plus the hours he spent on the Perspex surround.
