I'd recommend changing the gearbox oil as well. I'd had it done at 36k with the service and the 'box felt a lot more direct afterwards. Had it changed at the 48k service as well, but that was probably a bit overkill. ;)
Isn't engine flush one of those Marmite treatments? Some people rave about...
Hopefully not, m8! Mine is a 750w unit - with a wattage in usage display on the rear. It's yet to pass 300w from what I've seen - even when under load on 3DMark2006.
That's not to say that a single rail isn't being overloaded though. I've tried to spread out the load evenly, as best I can...
Mine does it as well Beas - and mine is a '54 plater too.
I'm not worrying about it if its the carbon cannister. Just turn the i-Pod up a little louder. ;)

Erm, WTF?
Got a clean RAID0 setup with Windows XP on another RAID0. Chucks the DVD in to install Vista 64 Ultimate and goes through the prompts. Blue screens after a few mins and then rebots.
Wipe the RAID0 again and go for round 2 (I know that this mobo & Vista doesn't need drivers for...
....or there are ones from Terratec? The DMX one looks more suited to what you'd need.

I would be amazed if a standard laptop audio setup would even cope with one mainstream audio program - not two! ;)
I've never messed about with laptop audio, so I wouldn't know what to suggest from personal experience. I have got however, a SoundBlaster X-Fi Fatality card in my PC and with XP...
I left mine in place when I did the plugs, D. It has been fine ever since.
One thing I would suggest is to clean up the valve at the start of the intake itself. Mine had a noticable ring of crap around the edges and I spent a good 10-15 mins cleaning it. I could have sworn that the throttle...
FFS - that takes the piss. :dead:
If the weeners that were in control of the insurance industry could actually ban the "broke a toe-nail = £5k claim" mentality, then there would be the potential to reduce premiums accordingly.
The fact that anything more powerful than a waste disposal costs...
Nice one Scutch. One less victim on Arseholes-On-line.
I'd rather suffer two plastic cups and a bit of string than put an AOL coaster anywhere near my PC.
Even robbers and pikeys have more morals that AOL in the old days. Hideous, evil, burn-worthy people.

Is your postcode definitely low risk? We live in a semi-rural area (open fields at the back, half mile from a main road, etc), but still get dry bummed as we are tagged with a Bolton postcode. Hence constant ring-sting.
Its a sad state of affairs (and the current times) as to why insurance is...

Surely there is a whole host of other factors that would influence the online experience before this? I mean, if this was around £30, I may give it a try. But as we're at the extreme fringes of broadband reach at home anyway, surely this...
^^^ - exactly the reason why I want to try one. :) I'm interested to see if a small PCI card can really number-crunch that well and add to the visual effects?
Yes, they do. After nVidia acquired Ageia (sp?) last year. Apparently the CUDA-based cards can support PhysX extensions.

As per title - does anyone know of a PSU rated approx 400w (or higher) in micro-ATX form?
Highest I've seen is 300w so far, which maybe enough - but I'd be happier at 400w as I know the setup works like that when connected to a 430w ATX PSU.
I could transplant all the bits to another case...
Is that bottom pic an RS though Gaz?
A shame that manufacturers are so insistant on pulling back the headlights further and further. Next year they will be as far back as the petrol cap and the bulbs will be like strip lights.
I say 'to f**k' with health and safety and lets get a return of...
Definitely keeping an eye on this thread! The RS2's are highly likely to be my next choice for the fronts. Loads of tread left on the rear Contis, so I'll probably leave them for now.
Jon - do they aqua-plane badly in standing water?
Cheers,
D.
Hopefully that will be the end of it. An opportunist that is probably more concerned at being spotted than coming back?
When we were at uni in Plymouth - came back to the house one afternoon to see one hooded bloke, half out of the window. He'd clearly heard the front door being unlocked and...
^^^ - quote of the thread. :)
Who needs to be all practical with a car, when it's just great to drive? I've never understand the view where functionality over-rules the desirability of a car.
Cars like this are more desirable, simply because they are loaded with impractical features -...
