Personally I think they look pretty chav though....saw a black 182 with rear tints the other day and my god did it make the car look cheap/tacky
Each to their own though
I've got a sports cat as well and it is more responsive.
Makes the car slightly boomy though at a certain rpm but fine when cruising at 70 on the Motorway.
F**k me...and I had a moan about a quote for £600!!!!!!
I'd have to say I'd rather drive something slower than pay that kind of money...it's quick but not that quick.
Still...enjoy the car:D
The 172/182 isn't a highly stressed turbo car with det issues though.
Each to their own though but after running a Jap import and being paranoid about these issues running a UK spec car is great as it means I can put in 97ron fuel without worrying.
I did notice a slight improvement in mpg...
Welcome to CS
I don't think you'll be dissapointed with the 172....the handing/steering is spot on and makes it one fun car to drive.
Drop Fred at Yozzasport or Ben R at Angelworks a pm regarding getting to 200bhp....those guys are pretty clued up on their Renault tuning.
Good luck with...
I always use SU (97 ron fuel)
Waste of money using V Power in the Renaults NA engine....that stuff is more suited for Jap imports and the like that are mapped to run on 100ron fuel.
Definately a good buy
Got one for my 172 and it really changes the look of the front end.
Word of advice though....easier to put on if you remove the front bumper and install off the car. I used proper allen bolts to instead of the crap self tappers that came with it.
