3 year for rrod consoles so this will be hard to argue on warranty for. After 5 years he's had a fair bit of use out of it. If its still broke/when it brakes again i'd be tempted to open it up and have a go at fixing it myself.

You need to leave them the wheels with no tyres on as above. Dont know about colour match but there work is really excellent so worth going. When you go they let you choose the colour from a load of samples so you could take a cap in and find a good match.

I dont have the figures to prove it (yet) but the rear metal may be longer, in fact i'm pretty confident it is. Edit: Not that this matters in this case

Garage usually takes some sort of handheld dremel type polisher to mine before balancing so the weights stick if they are dirty.

Suppose so, the bike I was looking at was around £7k so not a huge value, with bikes though I have found that security (trackers/alarms/chains) doesn't seem to make a difference if it's in a locked garage.

I considered it when I was getting a motorbike new 2 years ago (halifax is the 2nd worst place in the UK for motorbike thefts you know) but it made no difference to the insurance. Cant remember costs but it simply wasn't worth it, if I had something worth a lot and rare then I'd get one.

I knocked some off cleaning the wheels once, just got mine rebalanced while they were off the car and its a lot better now :)

I think the JMS kit does make the car better to drive, even if graphs and peak figures are similar, once on the road it does seem to be more torquey.

Did you make sure the ring was centred before fitting the wheel, this causes similar issues. Didn't know you could fail an MOT on abs lights since you could just remove the bulb :S

Probably a while now, turnout for this one was fairly low, maybe 6 months ish? You can go anytime though and do a run :)
