hmm i read the first page and got the basic gist so you give it a dam good wash and then use a hard polish and for the next (however long) you can spray the panel and wipe it down.

mine was a diff day but foxy et al seems to have had a riot, good ciruit and quite safe (read that as not much to hit) just glad i wasnt there the same time as them they would have shown me up something rotten , love foxy front wheel lift off oversteer moments.
real trackdays have sea spray and that funny white sea spray foam on the back section, seperates men from boys lol
even when the rain had stopped i had to put wipers on at the back section because the wind was bringing sea spray onto the track, the foam on track was epic

my two pence worth is, panel filter, remove the acoustic valve from one of the air feeds, if your still on the std mild steel exhaust that is prob due a change so a stainless steel jobby (loads to choose from) and some are...
full system from dry including heater matrix etc is close to 7 litres but for a coolant change you will only ever need 5 litres, type D coolant from renault or german swedish and french
it could just have been low for a while if you dont think it has ever been changed and yours cars 4+ years...
his bonnet does loo a little high at the front but also looks a touch high across the top of the headlights i wonder if it is shut proper
also is that exhaust system std?
i have a cherry picked up from Awsome Gti smells nice but after a month started to die down now, will try that hot water thing they describe
better than some of the others i have tried over the last 10 years though

i used a NW based chap he does the more reportage style (sp)? (not posed) but will of course cover the big group shots etc, i think i had about 8 set staged shots for my wedding he is a pro photographer for various magazines advertising companies etc but also does some...
i have heard a few cars with the rs192 are decatted they are very loud, i know your looking at keeping yours but a decatted rs192 is louder than a decatted btb

i am keen and have done quite a lot of rr days but would like another since my belts were done just for fun, date dependant though.
miltek seem to have a good rep for a close to std noise (or at least not classed as one of the louder systems) most of the ss aftermarket sysems are all a little louder than std though.
some do some dont, depends on the engine, how its driven (especially from cold) how hard a life it has, what brand and indeed grade of oil is used.
mine never used a drop for years but it does burn some when doing track days using a 0w-40 just keep an eye on yours mate but some engines do use...

yeah thats the one, it passed me on the motorway so i pulled behind it and followed for a jnc until my turn off i flashed the headlights but got no wave :(
