Surprised you can get insurance on credit at 17 tbh, best to get your parents to lend you the money/get a 0% credit card on your behalf and save on the interest.
Re: RB182 Diary
Cheers.
Dont know about cruise, tried changing both pedal sensors and putting a different map on the ecu. Things left to try are abs ring and steering wheel (might be getting a wheel complete with ring from someone on here though).
I am on the verge of taking it to renault and...
Re: RB182 Diary
Little update, got my splitter fitted today which was my xmas present from my parents, also bought some RS mats and metal footrest from here. Could't be bothered cleaning it though.
And a couple from the snow.
Age - 19
NCB - 1
Car (engine) - 182
Premium cost - £1900
Was a decent price considering mods but did get it a lot (£600) cheaper in the end, if I planned to do more mods i would definitely go with them. Plus they dont mind cages/stripped out.
I see, presumed since it had interchangeable lens it would work with the olympus slr len's but obviously not.
To me it seem a great money making exercise from olympus, you have to buy everything again.
Looks to take decent enough pictures, cant see any imperfections so to speak.
Might pop down and try it out tomorrow, can always sell it on if i dont like it :)
EDIT: Also, you used the kit lens for that pic :rasp:
Was thinking that, and have finally found some owners reviews on it and people have been reporting purple fringing(?), presume thats purple light leaking into the image?
Alternatives are a Canon IS for £400 or a sigma for £175
Wanting a zoom lens and a macro and have been recommended this by my uncle, I would normally take his advice but he is also the person that convinced me to make the mistake of buying my old Samsung GX10 last year.

Seems a bit...
Famous last words lol
Every car is a risk imo, know people who have blown engines in less than 6 months on brand new vw's and porsche's.
Just buy one with history, looks in good condition, get a mechanic friend to give it a once over and take it from there.
Aslong as you wont be tempted to take it out before your test, and your prepared for it being even worse if you fail first time with a car on the drive.
So far the 182 has been a lot more reliable, i'd get one of them lol
Presume you'd be looking at the 1.2 16v, I bought one 2 years ago for £2k, that was a 2001 model so using that logic you should get an 02/03 one now for £2k. When do you go 17, might aswell wait until then tbh.
Mine was a bag of crap tbh, every month a large part of my wage went on repairs...
