Now those stripes, I do like. :D
If I were to be ultra picky - I'd say they 'may' look better a darker shade of grey/silver. But they do look great as they are.

....heading down this morning, I was overtaken by a blonde in a '52 black 172 with a 182-style twin pipe exhaust.
Then coming back up from Nottingham this afternoon, I spotted a Mars red V6 on the opposite of the M1 - around junction 38.
Anyone?

Cheers chaps. She does look good when clean.
The centre-caps are in a bag in the attic - lol! I left them off after the EBC stuff went on and have never put them back. Looks far too 'staid' with them back on, imo.
A testiment to your paint-work, m8! :D It has been well over a year...
Well, I meant to be cleaning the inside of the 182 today as it was certainly in the need of a good hoover-out.
Anyways, I thought 'stuff it' and decided to give it a wash as well, despite it having one only a few days before (sad get).
So began another round of black gold yin & yang, chalk...
Good find m8 and great 'after' shots too. I always love the front-on view of these - they look so aggressive.
The Turinis are a good idea. Probably not for the purists, but I think they will look smart on there. :)

Yep - HP Proliant tools!
Seriously, that bit of software that comes with every Proliant ML3xx and above, iirc? - is the dogs nads. It makes setting up a server so damn easy - even a total n00b could do it.
Of couse, there's the issue that you need a HP Proliant server to install it on in the...
FFS - where will it all end? If the PC mob aren't happy that they've got parents sh1t-scared taking pictures at school footy matches and sports days already - now they want you to stop taking pics of your own car?
What next? No pictures at your own wedding?
Pathetic....

Yeah - no worries! It can be a bit trashy on the suspension though, so I still take it easy.
I followed a bloke back on there a few weeks back in a black gold 182. He clearly knew every bit of that road - knowing where to brake - going to the other side of the road to avoid pot-holes, etc. I...
Not far from there - between Bury and Rochdale - up past Fairfield Hospital. Working in Blackburn, I sometimes go home via Blacksnape Road-Blackburn Road-Roman Road way. Great roads for the 182 - especially if no plonker is pootling along at 30mph in the national speed-limit sections. :D

Lol! That black Clio with a woman driving it? I saw that at the roundabout facing your work's Chris. As it went past, I did a double-take at the badge. Did it really say 'V6'? I PMSL!
Deary-me.....

I would like to have a go of a left-hander 182 - see if it feels different. I bet the clutch in particular is much easier to use - having only to travel a short distance rather than that clutch cable on ours that goes half way around the engine bay!
I think there's a lot to be said for driving...
Yey! BTCC is by far my favourite - glad to see it's started in '08 already. :)
Great pics, btw - nice amount of detail.
How did the Seat's perform this time on track with TDi power? I'd read that they had been purposely running low boost in testing in order to keep the opposition guessing.

I like the grille on the front between the lights and the Reno badge. Looks like you could hurl spuds at it and get sliced, chunky chips as a result.
Hmmmm. Chips......:hail:
