oh yeah I was dick around with them settings the other day.

ill print shortly and stick my scale ruler on
I did do some google searching, but one that looked ok they wanted you to sign up and all the ones where you didn't have to sign up looked crap.
didn't know if you might have a car shown in a caring space or something I could nick?
do you use autotrack?
gladman........... OMG - the worst of the worst.
ive spent many hours at Essex looking at master plans and just listing all the things I don't like ;-)
planning agents love a big list of design changes!
so you deal with big and small stuff?
got a 2d cad drawing of a car, refuge vehicle and...
ah ok cool, well I'm on the other side.
I work for Cambridgeshire county council assessing the highway impact of planning applications. we so assess layouts of everything on the highway network.
but on the side I am now offering highways advice in Essex, so access arrangements.
its more about what scales people have on their scale rulers ;-)
I love it when I used to receive plans in random scales like 1:75, you wont find 1:75 on a scale ruler
still not had the chance to play with scaling yet, hopefully tonight. thanks for the info
All my drawings I do at 1:1 scale.
But yes I want to create a3/4 paper and add a viewport and then scale the drawing to say 1:200 or 1:100 etc...
I've closed down my laptop now, but I need to learn how it works. I'm fully self taught on CAD, never had a lesson so there's a few things I don't...
I am angry to find this helpful guide on the Belkin forum, turns out I had the ethernet cabld in the wrong port

I've already ran a cable from hh5 into my garage and currently I've got a hh4 in there as a WiFi access point. But it's really s**t and doesn't work very well. So I got the Belkin
I just purchased a brand new Belkin ac1000 wireless router to use in my garage, but am not getting any internet.
in the house is the BT HH5, and the ac1000 is plugged into one of the ports on the back. but just says no internet connection.
why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
most you can adjust the sensitivity though, so that may help. its one of those things ill have to have a play with and see what works and what doesn't.
I'm not sure a 19" rack format would fit in my wardrobe which is where my current pc is. I don't think its wide enough, ill have to check. but I hear what your saying about temp change.
I'm assuming these nvr work with any ip cameras not just hikvision ones?
I note there are many on ebay

I was hoping to set up motion detect for a set area and just get notifications for that set area . Via...
Looks good and cheaper than a laptop.
What do you need to setup alerts? Anything special?
My current wiring is two ip cameras plugged into a router, which then plugs into a computer. I'm guessing that won't work with nvr ? It will want each camera plugged in separately?
