    My new car... meet Ruby.

Not really. As said, if you have no commitments, why not spunk all your money on something you'll likely never have chance to own ever again!

    My new car... meet Ruby.

The fact remains, running a baller car requires baller wages. Or no house and kids. Well done to Laura though, she's done what most people only dream of doing.

Do you take your Renaultsport for granted?

I had to drive my wifes scenic/boat all weekend and it felt like I was getting into an F1 car when I got in the clio this morning. Then by 11am, the rattling, the rock hard suspension, the squeeking aux belt and the tiny steering wheel made me miss the scenic.

Some microfibres, some SRP and a few AF products. Oh, and some paper mats.

just a quick question before i intend to buy

I think you're confused mate. ph1 have a conventional throttle cable, ph2 172/182's have fly by wire. Could be anything really. I wouldn't be too concerned with it as most things like that are relatively cheap fixes on these. You got anyone who knows cars that you could take with you for a...

just a quick question before i intend to buy

The idle has nowt to do with the exhaust. Very little anyway. I'd be more concerned with when the belt was done time wise and what the condition of it was like. Snappy (on here) retrims wheels to a standard that Renault could only dream of.

Electric windows, central, remote locking and window demisted all died at once

UCH was quite cheap when I bought it from Renault Wolverhampton on here. Fitted it myself and got a mate that works for renault to code it in for £20. Certainly not the end of the world.

opinions please guys V-Maxx coilovers or stock and springs? for track!

I had vmaxx on a 182 and whilst they were actually pretty good on the road (very good in fact!) they were pretty lame on track. Way too soft. If it's a track/fun car, I'd probably go with new cup dampers and cook sport springs.

I'm going to have to sell it soon. I really need a van. Tax and MOT is up at the end of the month so I'll probably renew both then get an advert up. :(

I hope you cleaned the head lining! Doing all that work and leaving a stinking head lining in there would be sacrilege!

    Brake pads today!

Have you actually looked at the pads? If it was my every day car, I'd rather replace the whole lot, discs pads and fluid, rather than just chuck a set of cheapo euro pads in there and hope for the best. That's not a dig, but if the brakes work and there's meat left on the pad, then I'd rather...

    Brake pads today!

When you say 'part worn down' how worn down are they?? If they aren't gone completely, and they still work, then there really is no rush to replace them today.

    electric windows 200

Put it down about half way. Then put it back up. When it gets to the top and it's shut properly, hold the switch in the up position for 12 seconds. That's how you reset lagunas, scenics and meganes so I assume the Clio is the same.

    wheel refurb around bristol area

There's a place I've used before in keynsham. They did my valver wheels. Shot blast and powder coat cost me £180 for 4 wheels. I'm on my phone so can't link, but he's called keynsham powder coatings.

What front ferodo brake pads do I have fitted?

Why not go and do a track day and see how they perform? I don't really see the point in chucking money away for no reason other than what the internet thinks. My last car I took to llandow and fitted a set of £27 halfords front pads in the car park. The car was used by 2 of us so out all...
