I would look at Mac's, going off your requirements above. If you want to stick with PC laptops, I personally prefer HP ones. They seem a good balance of performance against cost.

Nowt wrong with your mum, m8 - she was proper protecting your car. I can imagine if I had made an attempt to nick your car, it would have been me that would have come off the worst! ;)

It's a guaranteed drive past the hospital just after 12pm - especially if we have a Fat Basta*d Friday and head on over to Subway! :)
Mick - Jain was saying that black gold was really rare on the '55 plate? You certainly don't see many Vees anyway - either Mk1 or Mk2, but to have a rare...
Hehehe! The Stalker strikes again, eh?!
To be fair, it was Mick that PM'd me first, so I'm not entirely to blame!
Anni - you would have missed me by about 10 minutes or so - those roadworks further down are causing a nightmare getting in, in the morning.... :(

Ah, it's in the pipeline then?
I know your car had a lot less miles on it than mine, but your black gold paintwork looked amazing. It must have been well looked after by the previous owner - either that - or it didn't get out much.
The one (unfortunate) thing about the BG Vees is when the...
Lol - you got back quick? Heavy right foot? ;)
Good to meet you too after seeing the Cup there so many times before. I'll have to get used to looking out for a Vee now!
Maybe a change of forum name is required too???

Could be - though it was earlier than that, m8. It was on that road that heads into Reddish from that roundabout - with Wickes off to the side.
We were in a works' Mazda-6 at the time, hence I didn't flash! ;)

Spotted it coming the other way through traffic. Only glanced at the plate - could have started YP55, though I'm not sure on that.
It was either carrying some weight or it had been lowered too.... ;)
Early afternoon today (30/7/07)

Looks good Ricky!
Are you planning anything with the fog-light holes? Cooling ducts for the front discs, perhaps?
How does the racing blue colour fare against the usual debris thrown up on track? It looks ultra-clean on the later pics - does it look proper grubby afterwards? ;)

Looks just right on the ride height - shame Reno didn't kick them out the factory that low to start with!
Not really a fan of the tints (on any car) but everything else looks the nutts - especially the black diamond.

You're all wrong.
The unique blue paint is coated in a flatulence bacteria that releases microscopic farts when the car is under hard acceleration. Adds at least 20bhp when rolling.... ;)

Well, it was a great day to clean the car. A bit too good in a way as the sun was really strong. The neighbours were out so it was a good excuse to nick some of the shade on offer... ;)
A decent amount of black goldage going on....
However, mine was totally outclassed by...
^^^^^ - Good point edde - especially keeping the car as a track virgin too.
Hmmmm. I think I'll stick with non-grooved ones then....
Cheers for all the feedback guys! :)

So, so true. Seems to be the way of things, these days. :dapprove:
Having said that, pepsi - I don't think you've done anything wrong - just made the best out of an unexpected situation. Fair play to you.
Yet we also end up with situations like what Taylor says. She comes off the worst (by...
