It's unfortunate that all the issues you mention (Alessandro) probably don't mean much on their own. But combined? They don't paint a rosy future.
Tbh, you may get the light treatment - slapped wrists, a fine, don't-do-it-again sort of thing. Then again, you maybe dragged over the coals on...
A definite purchase Gaz - top marks if you managed all that with th 6" pads. :D
I didn't even know you'd switched to a BG 182? How are you finding it in comparison to the Cup?
I think your responses (and others) have confirmed that the black gold colour is THE worst for standard finish...
Heheh! Nope - but the car was on autopilot to take me there - a swift right-hander at the correct moment made it turn into Shadsworth for work... ;)
Tbh, I hope I don't see anyone at the mo. The car is a funking disgrace on the outside with all the mud and turds from the walking glue-sticks...
Well spotted Mossy!
But you would have thought if they were going to those extremes, they would simply relocate the fuel-tank pipe to where it is on a V6?

Re: Best comment from your local Renault dealer ever
PMSL - that's a classic! Would have been even better if it had been in the middle of August or something!

It's finally arrived then - well done! :)
The alarm is standard fit by the sounds of it. I'd also check that you've got the Reno RAID system armed. Do the doors automatically lock when you start to move - about 5mph, iirc? If not, hold down the door lock button on the dash for about 5 seconds...
Badges nicked off my PGGT. Wipers lifted up more than once? :S
Door dings  and that's about it.
Jain's had far worse - both her MR2 and V6 have been keyed - fecking arseholes...:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Re: Best comment from your local Renault dealer ever
Jain with her 182 when the alarm kept going off at all hours.....
18-year-old trainee at Reno 'volunteered' to take her 182 home in an effort to see if the alarm would go off outside his house.
Ok. So that wouldn't involve picking up three...
Wish I had the equipment and ability to do fibre cables. Fibres' friggin excellent from the stuff I used - zero issues and fast as feck too.
We use a fibre backbone between all our 5 buildings on the business park. No electrical problems, static, distance issues, etc. Great stuff - and quite...
Does it give anything more specific on it? Like PC2100 or something?
I'm guessing off it's age, it's likely to be either PC2100 or PC2700 memory. PC3200 did the rounds for a while as well, but came along a bit too late for most people to buy it.
The next issue you'll have is how many slots you...
I'd download Sandra2007 Lite from the following site, m8. Gives you loads of details as to the innards of the PC and will help clarify the exact spec of memory that you have....

Bloody hell - that's pretty much the same as what Jain gets in her V6? :S
I'm sat on 33.5mpg at the moment - approx 18 miles each way to and from work - mixture of motorway and A-roads.

Yep, quite easily. I rarely use it and never hit the 'Auto' button. Tbh, I missed a sunroof more when I got the 182 compared to what I thought I gained with the air-con over my previous cars that didn't have A/C.
The one stickler for me in any new car would be xenons. If I got a new car...
Yep, I've got the colour codes ok, but I just can't get the wires to go in smoothly. Either one crosses over another, or one kinks, etc.
It probably just takes practice?
D.
Ok chaps - please tell me I'm being a proper bell and making these CAT5 cables up wrong.
I've got the cable stripper, the CAT5 plug, the crimping tool and plenty of CAT5 cable to practice on. What I'm short on is both patience and talent.
How the funk do you get all 8 wires to slide into the...
