Mr Gerbil, you are stark raving mental. Completely lost the plot!
But I love it. I love the amount of work and effort you're putting in. Well done sir.
Personally, I'd just buy the best car I could for the money I had available. Regardless of it being a 65/80/100.
Lets be honest, you aren't buying it for out and out pace so IMO i'd try and buy something that needs little to no money spending on it.
You can try a new foam seal. (Remove the sunroof, scrape off the old one, refit the new one)
But the chances are it will be the main rubber seal in between the glass panel and the main frame.
On an old T reg car, i'd personally silicone it all shut. Make sure it's bone dry, open the sunroof...

Lawro, let me pop by work later, see how much room I've got. I'm at pizza express with the kids a minute but I'll let you know either way.
Very pleased for you though mate.
Not if you're disciplined. As in buy the engine, then bin the card.
I wouldn't do it personally, because I have the will power of a Basset Hound and i'd be maxing it out in no time.
Yeah, looking at that 306, it was a good looking car! It's still about, on the original dTurbo alloys. Sold it to a woman in an old peoples home. That must have been 12 years ago and she's still got it!!
All day long. If I didn't already have cars coming out of my ass, i'd buy that! Could run it for a year and still get your money back. Probably make money even. Non-rotten mk1's are rarer than rocking horse s**t.
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
Just a thought, have you rang the council?
I had my (bosses!!) company car lifted when I left it down town. I thought it got pinched but it turns out someone complained about my parking.
Turn the car over with no plug in it, that will blow any swarf out. (Tbh it doesn't look like there would be any in there)
Buy a set of GENUINE plugs and leads and re fit, torquing up the plugs as you go. Chances are you'll be fine. I've had this on 3 clios now.
Stop being silly with this...

Man has a pile of junk silver 51 plate 172.
Steals this.
Spends weekend swapping bits over. Scraps/burns out shell.
Man now has a 172 with £000's worth of parts making it virtually brand new!
