Even though it's got a ph2 front end, it'll have a ph1 interior. There are no redeeming features. At all.

Cleaned the Dci (7 b*****d hours! Was filthy!) then off loaded it onto my mate who is now going to sell it for me. I'm now back in a 172. :) Although I will miss £10 a week on diesel. :(

Lambda sensors are massively overlooked and if they're old and crap they'll play havoc with the mpg's.

What car have you got? Is it a standard item? Does it light up?

Gearboxes piss oil out too a lot of the time.

I've yet to see a 2.0 clio without oil all over the bottom of it. And I've had more than 50 of the things.

It will be a mixture of oil dropping when the filter is removed/replaced and maybe a bit from the sensor. Unless its proper fresh oil, I wouldn't be worried about it.

That's the oldest 172 i've ever seen! Never even knew they did them on a V plate.
