This is what they train the Police for is it? This was far and away never a 'considered' decision, it was fast and reckless behaviour.

He should have waited for the appropriate action from the driver before he 'defended' himself. At least thats what he will say when questioned no doubt!
He should be sacked. Whats to say he cant keep his cool when he goes to a disturbance that doesnt involve someone driving like a prick? Something lets say more mediocre? It wouldnt make it right then and in my opinion certainly not now.
