If your gonna drive round with it throw the old backbox in your boot with the new one well if youve still got the old so as if you get pulled you can say it just happend and your off to get it fixed :)

IF you gonna be gaming i say you get a 74Gb 10K rapter and another 7200rpm work horse youd get that for about the same you pay for just the one 150Gb rapter

The only real way you will benafit from it is if your going to use it for gaming or as tim said Burning dvds as the fast speed means PC can find and send the files at a faster rate but if your just using the PC for everyday use then the extra cash would be better spent else where imo

Depends really what you want to use it for although most games nowadays are designde to use Dual Cores to the fullest...Dual cores are alot better at Multi Tasking ie since there two cores the tasks can all be split making the load on each core lighter where as with a single core everythings on...
