After claying you car will be down to clean bare unprotected paint, you should seal it staright afterwards really. A quick coat of wax is well worth it - sealing in all the hard work you have done during claying, and reprotecting your paintwork.

People use brasso to fix scratches on the clear plastic on ipods. You could always try some Meguiars plastic polish, or a product called Plexus from demon tweeks made for Visors on chrash helmets.

For 150 quid you should be able to get your own PC. I wouldnt bother with the diamonbrite, just get yourself a good paint sealant and apply it yourself.
