I ended up getting some Renault Rubber ones for mine as they are so much easier to keep clean, cost about 17 quid and fit spot on.

Take an area - lightly spray the area to be degreased with water. Spary on the degreaser, agitate with a brush, leave to dwell for 5 mins or so and rinse off. Repeat on the area till its clean, and move onto the next section. Cover and areas well you dont want to get wet. Use a low pressure...

Normally AG Interior Shampoo on normal grime, or Meguairs APC on Stubborn Muck. If they are really bad an carpet extractor/cleaner is the only way IMO.
