I had this in for a proper spruce up. Needed the works as it had spent its life going through a carwash, the paint was fcuked. The headlights were also battered.
I'm getting the hang of this now! Give it another 32 years and I may get REALLY good...

I had this in my track car. Tried everything (constant bleeding of the system, checking everything etc)
Dan@SJM has now fitted a new master cylinder and all new brake lines so i'm hoping the next time I drive it, it will be cured!
His trailer (six wheeler) is designed to carry range rovers, so it's too heavy when you combine it with his van and the clio.
I don't have to worry about it because my truck + clio are well within the weight limits.
It won't be road legal. In fact, he's just been done for towing without the correct licence so at the minute, when it's finished, I will have to take it places on my truck. Or, I could just be a c**t and not take it, purely out of jealousy that my car isn't finished.
This has taken a big leap forward this weekend.

A bit of petrol on a rag, wipe it all off, then give the panel a good going over with some polish.
(If you haven't got petrol, thinners will do)
Just wipe the soaked rag over the paint and it will be fine. If you start scrubbing you will damage the clear coat on the car.
R.J, there's a girl on here in somerset, Emma (She's a southwest area rep) I'm sure she'd give your car a once over for some cash. She's quite handy with paintwork.
I'm no polishing pro mate, far from it.
Those things ^^ are rubbish. Only good for removing normal car polish faster than you can by hand.
