Any coilovers will fit. just get coilovers for a 1.2, the fact it's a 5 door is fine.

If it's the 8V one, no chance! I'd be tempted if it was the 16v but tbh, putting a 'fast' engine in this car will kind of kill off its character.

Cup carpet is the same material as ph1 172 carpet. I use the term carpet loosely as its like a woven mat type thing and very thin. Ph1 172 is blue. Cup carpet is black. Non cup (FF?) ph2 172 carpet is dark grey and is a thick proper carpet. Completely different material.

Scrap man will probably give him £50+ for it if its genuine. (Assuming a pre cat is the same as a cat??)

You want the carpet out of a non cup ph2. It's a much nicer carpet and is really easy to clean.

You can have a 13 month MOT as you are allowed to present it one month early.
