Had a look in the glove box of the 182 in order to do this, cant see any holes other than for the catch. I guess this is because of being able to use the aircon to cool it.
Going to try and route the cable next to the glove box light as on another post I read on here.
It will save you lots of work getting it done by a local metal polisher, but as said can be done by hand wth various grades of wet and dry papers and metal polish. You can get mop attachments for power drills to help speed things up.

One of the places in this thread is about 50 quid cheaper than some of the other places.
Like I say you may be out of luck the current catologue only lists a Black one now. I went to order the racing blue 182 one last week, but it had been replaced with an inferno one in the latest catologue.
Planning the cradle free route with it hidden in the glovebox here over Xmas.
There was a post saying the cable could be routed through by the glovebox light without drilling any holes.
