Storm grey with black speedlines s***s over any other colour.
People that disagree with that statement have had a head injury at some point.
Mercury comes a close 2nd though. Very crisp looking silver that is.
Clean plates, silver wheels and that would be very nice. Black wheels are a bit too try hard for me.
I love them though. Absolutely love them. I so wish I could pursuade my wife to have one.
Re: yokohama parada??? any gd
My thoughts exactly chip!
Can't see the point of running R888's on a clio. There is no fun involved and very little skill needed.
I love how you come on here, giving it all that, justifying your purchase to us.
When you know and we know, that it will be sold within 3 months for either a) a hot hatch or b) a 330 coupe with a clutch pedal.
^^Its £12 ffs!
You get what you pay for.
Its all very well saying Astra/polo wheels are cheaper but A) they will probably look crap and B) you will need to get the centre's bored out, meaning that C) you can then only sell those astra/polo wheels to another renault driver...
A quick look on this very forum (literally a 10 second search) has brought up 3 different sets of Renault clio 15 inch wheels for sale.
I suggest you try harder!
But the point of a renaultsport is for it to be thrashed.
The gearboxes should withstand that no problems.
Gearboxes in Civic Type R's, BMW M3's, Focus St's.... They can all handle the car. Its just yet another area where Renault haven't developed something properly and just given it to the...
Realy?? I've never ever had a dci box go pete tong.
Unless of course the dci's get treated better during their life? Tbf, thats probably the case as unless your names martin, you won't be hammering a dci around where 90% of 1*2's have had their teeth kicked in up and down a dual carriageway.
Because its something else to go wrong! Having owned 3 clio's where either the pump has gone or the hose has split, and facing the extortionate bill of fixing that issue, I decided it was best if its not there altogether!
As above, the 225's and the 197's are very different to drive.
Get a good drive in both of them and decide from there.
I personally don't like the way that a standard 225 delivers its power and prefer the revvyness and chuckability of a 197.
3 nuts and bolts, a 5 rib alternator belt from a motor factors (clios usually have 6 but they wouldn't fit) and an adjustable bar with lockable ends.
Can tension the belts as much as needed, and its a damn sight cheaper than whats on offer from the specialists.
I'm sure its a great car but it just looks like a lotus Elise with a bodykit.
I think there's much better out there for the same money.
I do however want your brothers job!! lol.
Mine is absolutely fine. Although it has probably only covered 5 hours of driving since I did it.
The only time it feels 'too heavy' is when doing a three point turn or paralel parking. Once on the move, it makes no difference.
If you want to remove P/S completely (I have on mine) then just remove the pump and all the pipes, loop up the fluid holes in the rack and carry on as per normal.
Me and a friend made our own 'delete kit' and it costs less than £20.
With that mileage, if it was super mint, it would be worth £4999, tops!
A damper refurb and a cambelt kit is over £1000 alone.
Numbers don't work Carol.
