Think it's a better option on a Mini in warranty but the R53 system has a habit of failing and amps are expensive. The wiring means replacing either the standard stereo or speakers is a hassle.

TEIN ones iirc. Eibachs may be better.

Mine was a facelift on a 54 plate. 2005 registered car. Looks great. After selling mine and going back to a car with normal suspension I'd ditch the spring idea. Never realised how bad the ride on my car was!

From some of the conversations I've had with people I think the modifications are putting some off. If it hasn't gone in a week i'll put all the standard stuff on and try my luck. Shame the standard wheels have crap tyres on otherwise I'd sell these. Mind me asking how much you gave for yours?

I'd just run it for a bit and make sure nothing else goes wrong or falls off. Noisy dephaser doesn't need doing straight away.

Yeah that's true. I'm going to have another go at getting Mini to sort the rust on the boot then make a better effort at selling. I've never enjoyed cleaning cars.
