    same size and profile is all that law requires (per axle) i believe ie both tyres on the rear axle must be the same 195/50 15 (any make) front axle they can be 195/45 15

    are you sure its the clutch? 100K miles is around the average life of a clutch on a 1.2 16v (as long as you can drive) has the cable snapped or something?

    PAS pump is in the bin i have to wire up the electric PAS and ABS i'm using the 1.2 hubs and driveshafts! should be interesting!

    so basically pull out my old uch, decoder ring, clocks and ignition barrel then whack in the 172 cup parts, hook up the fag lighter and off it go?

    yes i know that, but do i have to use the loom attached to the 172cup uch etc? or can i just swap the uch and bits onto the 1.2 loom in the car? ie save me taking the dash off to change the looms
