From minimum to maximum on the dipstick is usually about one litre in volume. If you're slightly over I wouldn't worry.

Thats called over allowance. It means the Civic is tooo expensive and he's got a load of profit in it. He's giving you loads for your cup so it seems like a good deal, but on paper he will reduce the civic by £2/3k and reduce your cup by £2/3k leaving the same cost to change.

I've always had problems with screenwash freezing. Its bugged the hell out of me. BUT!! The wife bougt 10 litres of cheap stuff from sainsburys petrol station and I just filled it up with that neat and its been perfect since. Was £4.99 for a big 5l tub so she bought two.
