release bearing won't leak oil mate, it doesn't have any to leak!!! crankshaft oil seals occasionally go which covers the flyweel and clutch in oil, but then the car wouldn't move

172cup without aircon is the quickest - end of story

its a very easy job, can be done in 2 hours, i would strongly suggest changing the water pump too as they do start leaking parts alone are about £100 (inc new water pump)
