My missus sent me these earlier. She's in Saudi Arabia currently.
Looks like a Turbo, but could be a Carrera with the aero kit. Either way, it's a few quids worth to have been dumped like that!
I saw a yellow Audi Quattro on the A12 last night
And a couple of Clios in the vicinity of Brands Hatch, think there was a track evening on.
That last one was definitely driven by a burglar/pervert lol
I would fit clears. Think later Cups had them anyway?
That's part of the appeal for me. It was a basic car and the basis for the Clio Cup rally cars. It's poverty spec is exactly why it's so appealing. But I appreciate that I am a total nerd.
That used to belong to someone on here I believe. Can't remember who though.
It looks nice but, at that money, it's into Megane 250 money, which would put me off a bit to be honest. But I'm not a massive fan of turbo Clios, so probably not the best person to ask.
Went in an E30 years ago, albeit only as a passenger. Wasn't that quick, but lordy it stuck to the road. Very cool cars. One with a lairy NA motor in it would be a lovely toy.
If it's decent, buy it. Cups are just cooler and will, ultimately, always be worth more. £2k seems fairly cheap. Can always sell it on if you don't like it.
Anyone who says that a normal 1*2 is the same as a Cup is just jealous because their car isn't special :ROFLMAO:
Went to the last enthusiasts day at Ford head office today. They're closing the site later this year and moving to Dunton, so it was the last one. Was an anniversary celebration for the Capri too.
I fitted Vibratechnics mounts and Powerflex black dog bone bushes to my road car, because I'm an idiot :ROFLMAO: To be fair, I didn't drive it daily, so I quite liked that it felt so extreme.
This looks like a nice solution, surprised you haven't had more interest.
Interesting build this. As someone from the rallying world, little cars like this interest me, as I think they represent the future. What do you reckon the upper limits are of the engine? With the capacity multiplier, it would still sit in the 2.0-litre class, but it could offer decent torque...
I do like these a lot. You'll spend all your money on fuel, but at least it will sound good while you're doing it.
Are they reliable? I would imagine the mechanicals are fairly simple.
Cars are stunning. That many One:1s in one place is pretty mental. There were too many "ones" in the sentence too lol.
Dealership looks pretty shonky though. Not exactly what you'd expect for that kind of car.
According to this...

...the target for 2018 was 2800 cars across Europe, and it looks like they almost doubled that.
My local dealer said they are selling better than expected. There have been pictures online of a more hardcore version...
I do!
But I think it might be possible to get a replica R5 kit for that, and that's much wider. Wider = better lol
Might chance my arm and see if they'd do anything trade, but I doubt it. I suppose I wouldn't need the arch liners I guess, but it's still mega money considering the manufacturing...
