    you don't have to grind the ends off at all, you remove the stupid thin plates instead we sell loads of DS2500's, awesome pads

    the bottom end isn't the problem IMO, its the head you have to be careful with at those rpms, i personnally wouldn't go past 8K you need to have the entire bottom end assembley balanced, crank, flywheel, clutch etc

    8K is safe the rods are available cheaper else where btw ;) nothing wrong with standard rods, they'll happily do 8K all day long

    if you can wire a plug, you can fit a shock easy peasy, you don't even have to jack up the car (if you're near birmingham i'll do it for free)

    fit it yourself, REALLY easy 1 x 18mm bolt 1 x 16 or 17mm nut (can't remember which)

    ring them, IIRC the customer key has your remap on there and its an £85 charge to plonk it back on the ECU (good money for a 2min job!)
