Just pull the plug off the coil pack and disconnect the battery.
Once thats done, report it to the police. Because if it does get nicked WITH THE KEYS! the insurance aren't going to believe you!
I could fix this in about 5 hours.
Strip the whole interior out. Seats/Carpets/sound proofing the lot. (Apart from the door rubbers) Wet vac the lot sucking out most of the moisture and put them on/over/near the radiator to dry them completely. Preferably for 48 hours or so. The slightest bit...
Yep. Pre tensioner is dealer only and the handbrake cables supplied by them (And GSF and Kingswood autoparts) were too short. By about 4 inches!
FLOL! Too f'in right.
Fcuk off Scotland. x
Sold my car.
Needed new handbrake cables, seat pre tensioner and that was it.
Ordered a pre tensioner off a ''specialist breaker'' on here, sent me the wrong one. Sent it back, guy I sold it to was told collection will be delayed. He was fine. ''Specialist'' sent me another pre tensioner...
I also hate the complete retards that 'specialise' in them. They obviously do this as they are too dumb to work in McDonalds serving more intelligent people their dinner.
I hate the fact that its french.
I hate the fact that nothing is ever simple when it comes to these hideous piles of...
Bump steer means that say your driving down a country lane at 60mph, you hit a hump in the road, the springs are too shorto for the shocks and the shocks bottom out. The car then leaves the tarmac and moves across the road by a good foot!
I hated them as I do lots of country lane driving...
I had 25mm hubcentric ones on the front of mine. Fine for track (big improvement in fact) but on the roads/motorway it tramlines like a pig. Not for me i'm afraid.
So is moisturiser but i'll not be using either! lol.
IMO, the mirrors are a bit overkill, but It does look good overall. The white wheels on a black car looks good!
I've had them on 2 of my 172's and i'd not buy them again.
Drive fast down a bumpy country lane and you'll see what I mean. If you don't bump-steer into a field.
No matter what the mileage, just make sure the car has full service history and reciepts for recent cambelt/aux belt, exhaust, engine mounts, rear discs/pads/bearings and you will be fine.
F4R engines run forever if looked after.
Ok cool. Each to their own etc.
What product dod you use to clean the leather? As I find BMW Leather is a complete pig to get it clean. What you've done on that leather is nothing short of a miracle!
I meant spraying them down with whatever chemical you're using, pressure washing then wet vaccing them.
Thats the process I use on door shuts, boot shuts, drivers footwells and carpet mats. Saves a boat load of time.
